I'm a third-year student at Ivey, currently spending a working gap year in corporate development at Mercer International.

I started working the summer after Grade 12 and ended up in a few different corners of business since then: wealth management, a search fund, investor relations at a startup, private equity, corporate development, and most recently strategy at TELUS.

The jobs were all very different, but the work I enjoyed the most involved understanding a business or problem from the outside, and critically thinking about strategy. Last summer, I took a strategy role at TELUS Health because I wanted to spend more time on that side of the work. I loved it, and it got me thinking more seriously about consulting.

I continued exploring that interest through the reports on this site.
